Coalition  of University Employees (Berkeley, Calif.) Records 1968-2010

Consists of the records of the Coalition of University Employees (CUE) and the predecessor unions of AFSCME Locals 1695 and 3211. Of special interest is carton 37 which contains materials related to the Third World Liberation Front Strike.

Feder (Daniel) Papers 1967-1973, undated

Materials collected by Feder during the student and faculty strikes. Contains correspondence, memos, minutes, position papers, printed and handwritten notes, newspaper articles, public statements, and other materials related to the strike. (1 manuscript box)

Harvey Yorke Photograph Collection 1967-1983

Consists of photographs, negatives, and color slides dating from May 1967 to 1972 taken when Harvey Yorke was the SFSC press officer. The majority were taken during the strike and include campus rallies, police presence on campus, press conferences and meetings, strike activity, Samuel Ichiye (S.I.) Hayakawa, and elected officials. Hyink Family Papers 1968-1969

Materials from the Hyink family (parents Lawrence Hyink, Jr. and Jordy, and their son Lawrence Hyink, III). Both parents served on the Parents Strike Support Committee and their son was a student at SFSC who participated in strike activities. The collection contains of fliers, correspondence, newspaper clippings, and documents produced by the Parents Strike Support Committee. (2 manuscript boxes)

Martinas (Sharon) Papers 1961-1975, bulk 1967-1969

Contains material collected by Sharon Martinas who was a lecturer during the strike. Consists of subject files containing ephemera, position papers, newspapers, scrapbooks of clippings, posters and other materials related to the strike. (16 manuscript boxes)

San Francisco State College Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) Records 1968-1973, undated

Comprised of a chronology, budget, position papers, reports, clippings, administrative and subject files relating to the program. They include the EOP newsletter and materials on the Third World Liberation Front. (1 manuscript box)

San Francisco State College Strike Collection 1961-2022

Contains materials collected by librarian Helene Whitson during and after the strike. Includes documents, news clippings, memoranda from administrators, and  more. (32 manuscript boxes and 1 oversize box)
