ARTHUR K. BIERMAN 

Bierman was a professor in the Philosophy department. He describes his role in organizing opposition to the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC) in 1959-1960; faculty union organizing (American Federation of Teachers) at San Francisco State University in 1952-1968; and offers a detailed look into the 1968-1969 student and faculty strike at San Francisco State.

PETER RADCLIFF

Radcliff was a professor in the Philosophy department. He was a union activist and official in the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the California Faculty Association at SFSC.
